www.thelatenightsalon.co.uk – a site for sore eyes

April 28, 2009 · Leave a Comment

There are cheers rising from across the land, as people type thelatenightsalon into their web browsers. For a boutique London design agency has finally launched its new site. creative director Toria Jaymes has this to say of the new site:

“I’m proud the launch of our new site is here and finally live for the worlds hungry eyes to see. Our new home page has some nice updateable components. With the features sections nice iPhone sensory style “slide and grab” and our main viewers screen set to feature animation and film and focus on current exciting projects and will always remain on rotation so won’t become stale. I’m pleased to say we kept the rest of the site nice and easy to navigate and fluid. So viewing our work and creative projects is as simple as scrolling on through with no annoying click throughs. I’m a firm believer in letting the work speak for itself. What we didn’t want to be was fussy and excessive. Hope you like it. x”

Technology that literally jumps out at you – Augmented Reality

April 2, 2009 · 1 Comment

Following on from our post about the minority report style technology that is going on at the moment, take a little gander at this. It is called Augmented technology and allows images to simply jump off the page, in the example shown the guy blows into his microphone to move the wind turbines and increase the wind sound. Pretty impressive stuff, probably the next level of gaming will come through this kind of technology a mixture of virtual reality and real life.
